A very humble apology

Posts have been very sporadic to say the least, I have to admit. I do apologise for that.

I attribute this to my failure in upgrading my laptop and I was left machine-less for quite a bit. I did upgrade it myself as promised with a new solid drive slotted in and extra RAM placed in. However, what I failed to account was the failure of the SSD and Windows threw me the blue screen every few seconds. It was frustrating and I had no spare SSDs lying around for troubleshooting.

In the end, I bundled the SSD, RAM, recovery disks and all to an expert I know of who managed to drill it down to a faulty SSD. It’s comforting to know that my hunch was correct and that I hadn’t messed my machine up at all in re-installing Windows and all.

It’s not exactly a very affordable upgrade but I think of this as an investment and future-proofing my laptop.

I’ve spent quite a few dollars on Dior’s Spring 2012 collection and I can’t wait to write about them. I promise regular posting will resume but if I seem to be slacking off, feel free to give me a virtual kick in the butt to get me going again.

Before I forget, Happy Australia Day! I’m celebrating with a couple of TimTams and a bottle of Australian-brewed beers from one of the microbreweries that seem to be popping up everywhere I turn!
