It could be that I’m getting older but I don’t find myself gravitating towards gloss much these days. Nothing like applying lipstick from the tube to make one feel so grown up! It was a good thing this gloss is a brilliant one.
The colour is a deep berry red which reminds me of crushed blueberries stained on the lips. It’s rich and it’s glorious on an almost-bare skin. It lasts pretty long for a gloss and when the glossy sheen has worn off, I’m left with a hint of berry red on my lips. It’s not exceptionally sticky nor is it goopy which are huge bonus points. It’s one of those glosses that I keep reaching for because berry-coloured lip products work exceptionally well against my skin tone.
The packaging is a simple one: Clear tube with a gold cap with its brand embossed. It comes with a brush applicator that I seem to have ruined by stabbing the wand back hastily hence causing the bristles to splay. I wish it came with the regular doe-foot applicator though.
Do you really need this gloss? Honestly, no – because if you’re a beauty blog reader, chances are you have too many glosses as it is. But Guerlain glosses are really something – possibly one of the best in the market so if you’re going to dabble into Guerlain, getting started on this gloss is not a bad way to get going.

One of my favouritest lip glosses ever. I swear by Guerlain Kiss Kiss and Dior Addict glosses. Few others come close
They are pretty good and really considering the fact that I’ve not bought glosses in a while, that’s really saying a lot!
